Mr. Irving Cecil Bruce, age 75 of Conyers, a retired route salesman with Coke, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Winfred Bruce; daughter, Michelle Bruce; brothers, Howard Bruce and Preston Bruce; sister, Marie Smith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vivian Bruce; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Bruce, Conyers, Toney and Tracy Bruce, Barry and Barbara Bruce, all of Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hoyt and Minnie Bruce, Covington, Gene and Nancy Bruce, Greensboro, Talmadge Bruce, Milledgeville, Edsel and Mary Bruce, Monroe, Edgar and Ellen Bruce, Lilburn, Beth Bruce; Conyers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edna Smith, Conyers, Peggy Watts, Covington, Ruth and William Roberson, Covington, Janella and Leonard Mitchell, Conyers, Jackie Sheriff, Monticello; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mr. Bruce retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company in 1990 after 37 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith, an avid farmer and a member of Zingara Lodge. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev. Ricky Bruce officiating; interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
