Conyers residents-and others throughout the east metro area-eager to lace up their ice skates and take a spin on ice will be happy to know that the ice rink will open for the 13th year in the Olde Town Conyers Pavilion beginning Friday, Nov. 21, at 5 p.m., continuing until Feb. 8.
Setup is already underway by Have An Ice Day Productions, LLC, the company operating the rink for the season. The cost to skate is $8 with an additional $2 fee for skate rental.
"We're pleased that Have An Ice Day is returning to continue this Conyers holiday tradition," said Jennifer Edwards, the city's director of Public Relations and Tourism. "Ice skating is a fun and popular component of the holiday events we promote throughout Olde Town and in the community during the season."
