I love hockey, ever since I saw my very first game it has been one of my favorite things to do. And I get into it too: banging on the glass, wearing my stupid cold-weather hat that no one loves but me, paying $100 for a cup of hot chocolate (it’s closer to $6, but whatever) – it all makes for a perfect night out in my book. And if you’ve never seen hockey you’re totally missing out. There’s the fights, the fact that blood bounces on ice and the super cute (when they have all their teeth) hockey players – but that’s just why I go. You can also really get into the game and enjoy a sport with your kids or your friends that you don’t regularly get to see in the south. Plus, it’s pretty cheap for tickets. Let’s go bang on the glass together this season!
