Generations of women gathered together for Conyers First United Methodist's annual "Honor Thy Mother Banquet & Fashion Show" the evening of May 10.

Table hostesses let their creativity flow coming up with tablescapes for the evening. Themes ran the gamut from mermaids to cleaning fairies. Table judge and candidate for County Commission Chair Jason Hill had the difficult task of selecting the winning tables.

After a delicious meal prepared by and benefitting the Missions Committee; and served by the charming United Methodist Men, the young guard twirled down the catwalk in fashions of their own choosing.

Guests were entertained throughout the evening by piano maestro David Landrum.

Looking around the room, Jill Green, event chair, said "This assembly of generations of godly women is truly inspiring."
