Honey Boo Boo, the star of TLC's reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," dropped by Conyers with her family and a TLC film crew on Thursday for a little holiday fun. Honey Boo Boo, aka Alana Thompson, took a spin on the ice at the ice skating rink at the Olde Town Pavilion, as excited fans watched from the sides. TLC's cameras caught her tentative steps on the ice with the help of her dad Mike and ice rink staff, made a snow angel, and cajoled her mom, June, into stepping out on the ice.

Gina Hartsell, Conyers-Rockdale's Camera Ready Liasion, said TLC producers called that day looking for places to stop by for holiday activities. The episode with the ice skating scenes might air sometime in January or February, she said.
