Hightower Trail Elementary recognized the volunteers and businesses that have contributed to the school over the year on Friday morning.

Betty Kelly and Barbara Lyons were awarded as the Volunteers of the Year.

Sylvan Learning Center, represented by Diane Marinelli and Mya Washington, was awarded the Business Partner of the Year for donating $96,000 worth of tutoring scholarships for 13 students.

Tucker, HVAC, BJ’s, Borage, Creamberry’s, Crossroads UMC, Donald Trimble Mortuary, Fidelity Bank, Hurricane Towing, Just Add Water, Kroger, Milam Community Eyecare Center, Moe’s, O’Charley’s, Paragon Women’s Health, Philadelphia UMC, PTO Supplies, Publix, R&D Photography, Rockdale Coopertive Extension, Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, Rockdale Tennis Center, Romp and Roll Skating Center, Shop Craft, Sign-a-rama, Subway, Target, Tastee Treats Italian Ice, Troy Toy’s Auto Body Repair, Vulcan Materials, Waffle House, Wal Mart, World Class American Karate, Destiny Starr, Apple Tree Learning Center, Farmer’s Grading and Hauling.
