As the Heritage football team continues to win games, it also continues to get exposure.
The Patriots will appear in their second televised game on Oct. 14 when they host Flowery Branch live on Georgia Public Broadcast. To accommodate television the game time has been pushed back from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The matchup will not only pit two ranked teams against each other (Heritage, No. 4 in the Max Preps poll, and Flowery Branch No. 3 in the Georgia Prep Country poll), but may also determine the Region 8-AAAA championship.
"If everything works out, it could be the game for the region championship," Heritage coach Chad Frazier said.
The Patriots and the Eagles are both undefeated with a 5-0 record in front of Clarke Central at 3-1, who Heritage defeated in the second week of the season.
