The Heritage girls' tennis team advanced to the Sweet 16 after beating Woodland, Cartersville Tuesday.

The Lady Patriots won 3-2 with both doubles teams coming away with victories.

The No. 1 doubles team of Devon McLauren and Fran Murray and the No. 2 doubles team of Leah Howard were both victorious. Number 2 singles, Alexis Smith came back from a 4-1 deficit in the third set to pullout the 6-4 victory. 

Heritage will play the winner of Pople and North Atlanta.
