Heritage defeated Salem and Clarke Central High School in volleyball on Thursday.

The Patriots defeated Salem 25-18 and25-22 behind Trenetria Steele's six aces and Adavia Elow's two blocks.

Heritage then defeated Clarke Central 2-1 in the second match of the tri-match tournament, winning 25-23, losing 25-27 and then winning 25-16. 

Brianna Dafney had 13 kills, while Erin White had eight kills and two blocks. Steele added five more aces.
