The Heritage girls' soccer team continues to build upon a great season.

The Patriots defeated Lee County 2-1 Wednesday night to advance to the elite eight in the Class AAAA playoffs.

The victory kept alive a six game winning streak by the Patriots (16-3-1), and ended Lee County's streak of 10 games without a loss.

Heritage will travel to McIntosh for a 3:30 game Saturday for a chance to reach the final four.
