Hearings on places of assembly laws
Changes may affect churches, community organizations

The Rockdale County Planning Commission and the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners  are hosting two public hearings to discuss the county’s current policies on places of assembly and potential changes to them.

All residents are encouraged to attend these public hearings, especially those affiliated with churches since they often must adhere closely to laws regulating places of assembly.

The Planning Commission is holding the first public hearing on Thurs., March 14 at 7 p.m.

The BOC is holding the second public hearing on Tues., March 26 at 9 a.m.

Both meetings are taking place in the Rockdale County Assembly Hall, 901 North Main St., Conyers, 30012.
