Hazel Davis Farmer Whitten, 85, of Conyers entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Jesus on Saturday, August 21, 2010.  Mrs. Whitten was a lifetime resident of the Milstead/Conyers area and retired from Pacific Uniform in Conyers.  She was a member of The Potters House Pentecostal Church in Covington, GA and also attended Conyers Apostolic Church.  Mrs. Whitten was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. R. Davis; husbands, David M. Farmer and James E. Whitten, Sr.; son, Kenneth D. Farmer; sister; Louise Davis Leach O'Kelley; brothers, Herschel Davis and Heywood Davis.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Whitten Thaxton and Jim Thaxton; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel Farmer and Joanna Wolf Farmer, Jimmy  (JW) Whitten and Lou Ann Busby Whitten, all of Conyers; brother, Carl R. Davis of Tavares, FL; sister, Roselle Davis Henschen of Atlanta, GA; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services to celebrate her life here on earth and her heavenly home going will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Rev. Sammy Williamson and Rev.
