CONYERS - Tyriano Greene and the Salem offensive line pounded the ball down Heritage's throat all night and the Seminoles earned the victory, 33-7 to win the county cup.
Greene finished the game with 148 yards rushing and Salem finished with over 200 yards rushing as a team.
Heritage turned the ball over more than five times and couldn't answer against Salem's stifling defense despite being in the red zone twice.
The Patriots went three and out three times early in the first quarter, but Cohen McElligott did manage a touchdown run in the second quarter.
Salem moves to 2-0 on the season and Heritage falls to 0-2.
