Georgia Perimeter College Interim President Rob Watts spoke about his school's growing student body and a future moving toward the online classroom during the Rotary Club of Conyers meeting Thursday.

Watts said GPC has 9,000 students currently enrolled in at least one online class, a trend he sees the college moving toward in the future. He said GPC prides itself on accessibility, affordability, transferability and academic quality and currently has 24,000 students enrolled this year among four campuses.

GPC is the largest associate degree-granting institution with the University System of Georgia and approximately one-half of graduates further their education at four-year institution.
