The Girls Club for Young Ladies with Disabilities is hosting a Christmas in August meeting Friday at 6 p.m. at Johnson Park. 

The meeting will be a time to socialize, meet new friends and participate in a gift exchange.

The cost is $1 in addition to one small prize for the "elephant" giveaway. The prize must have a value of under $5 and can be something laying around the house, something made or something cooked.
