Fire units are on site and the gas company has been notified and is on its way, according to Rockdale County Fire and Rescue Deputy Chief Mike Lee.

The leak, which is reportedly coming from a 2-inch gas line, was detected shortly after 10:30 a.m. today near the back driveway near a beauty supply store after public works crews did work in that area.

Vehicles are barred from coming in or out of the parking lot, with the assistance of Conyers Police.
