IN BRIEF: A gas leak at Rockdale County High School was reported shortly before 3:30 p.m. All RCHS afterschool activities are canceled and students may be picked up at the RCHS Annex building, behind the main school building, according to Rockdale County Public Schools spokesperson Cindy Ball.

Construction crews reportedly hit a gas line, which has reportedly been shut off.

A gas leak was reported during school earlier in September, also due to construction, which caused the school building to be evacuated.
