The Conyers Garden Club Yard of the month for June was placed in the yard of Dewey and Mattie Cook of 1381 Maple Street. The white creeping gardenia and pink impatients in the front of the home are eye catching. Centered on the porch is a large container with an exotic tropical plant with green and white leaves. Looking closely, you can see red flowers hiding among the foliage. Pots of cacti and a pot of impatients sit near the door. The other side of the home features a red amaryllis, nandenia and tall tomato plants. A large pink camellia is at the corner of the home. Hosta, ginger lily and squash are planted by the carport. The view from the kitchen window consists of containers of red geraniums.
