Randy and Marianne Freeman of Conyers announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Anne Freeman to Matthew Dean Goss, son of Mike and Tammy Goss of Conyers.

 The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Cecil and Jean Hawley of Greensboro and Melvin Freeman of Snellville and the late Jean Freeman. She is a 2003 graduate of Heritage High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia College and State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She plans to graduate from Mercer University in August with a master’s degree in early childhood education. She is employed with Oak Hill Elementary School as a format grade teacher.

 The future groom is the grandson of Clifford and Pauline Goss of Decatur and the late Paul Dallas and Josie Jean Martin. He is a 2004 graduate of Heritage High School and a 2009 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He is employed with E. R. Snell as an assistant foreman.
