The Rockdale NAACP recently awarded three high school seniors from Rockdale-Conyers with scholarships of $1,000 each raised through the annual Freedom Fund banquet. Ronnise Owens of Heritage High School will be heading to Spelman College in Atlanta. Kiana J. Washington of Salem High School will be heading to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Tracy Joy Buckner of Rockdale County High School will be heading to University of Georgia.
