You guys should know by now how much I love free things. And if it’s something free that I can enjoy with my son, all the better. Bear Hollow Zoo and Memorial Park is one of those things. It’s a lot like one of my other favorite free places, Dauset Trails, but this one is in Athens, for those of you who are too good to venture way out into Butts County for a good time. Walk through paths, look at animals – including adorable bears – duh – pack a picnic and have some lunch. On the weekends they typically have projects for the little ones for free as well. With places like this there is no excuse to not spend quality family time together outside. You could try to convince me otherwise, but you’d fail.
