Frances McCurdy Ingle Cheeley, age 84 of Conyers, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011. Ms. Cheeley was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Harold Ingle; daughter, Brenda Joyce Ingle; and husband of ten years, Rev. Stanley Cheeley. She is survived by her son, Wayne Ingle, and daughter-in-law, Carol Ingle. Her grandchildren, Chris Ingle, granddaughter-in-law, Kelly Harris Ingle, and granddaughter, Caroline Ingle share countless memories of the world's best Grandma. Her great-granddaughters, Sarah Grace and Amelia Ingle, also thank God for Grandma. Ms. Cheeley was born in DeKalb County, GA to Steve and Rosie Lee McCurdy. She is the sister of Tarlton McCurdy, Loretta McCurdy Shaw, Tommy Lee McCurdy, and Linda McCurdy Daniel. Frances was a dedicated member of Conyers First United Methodist Church where she participated in the Maxwell Class and Chancel Choir. She treasured worshipping God at Salem Campmeeting each summer. Frances was a dedicated mother, devoted grandmother, and loyal member of this community. She will be remembered for her wit, love, and commitment to her faith and her family. Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Scot Ward Funeral Services. Her Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Conyers First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Brokaw officiating. The Maxwell Sunday School will be honorary pallbearers. Contributions may be made to Conyers First United Methodist Church, Salem Campground, Inc. or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society in honor of Ms. Cheeley.
