Four people have been arrested and charged in connection of the murder of Conyers landscaper Timothy Clements, whose body was found, wrapped in some type of material in Snapping Shoals Creek Friday afternoon.

Pablo Fernando Maldonado, 22, has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, armed robbery, concealing a death, false imprisonment, theft by taking and forgery. He allegedly worked for Clements in his landscaping business. The duplex where Maldonado lived is being treated as a crime scene in the case.

Also arrested was 17-year-old Christian Perion Caldwell, who was charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, armed robbery, concealing a death, false imprisonment and theft by taking; 18-year-old Brittney Michelle Beasley, whose secondary address was also listed as the Kirkland Road duplex, has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, forgery, concealing the death of another and false imprisonment; a fourth person, a 16-year-old juvenile female, has also been charged in the case.

According to reports from the Newton County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation that is assisting in the case 53-year-old Clements left his Conyers home, headed for a landscaping job in Covington at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday, June 11, which is the last time he was seen by his family. He was formally reported missing at 11:30 a.m. the next day. At around 4:30 p.m. that afternoon, a fisherman found Clements lifeless body, wrapped up and floating in Snapping Shoals Creek off Ga. Highway 212. He was identified by dental records.

Maldonado was picked up in Anniston, Al., it is unclear why he fled there or what, if any, connection he has to that area. Investigators began searching for Clements’ vehicle, a 1991 red Ford F-150, which was missing, and located it off Evans Mill Road in DeKalb County the morning of June 15. It, along with Maldonado’s vehicle, was sent to the GBI crime lab for processing. Clements’ cause of death has not been released due to what the GBI calls "investigative value." No motive has been released

Clements, a married father of two young children, has been described by many as kind-hearted and dedicated, both to his family and his business. A fundraiser is planned for his family Saturday, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Porterdale Bar & Grill and a memorial fund has been set up to help his wife and children at Bank of America. Anyone interested in donating can do so at any branch in the Tim Clements Memorial Fund, or checks can be mailed to Tim Clements Memorial Fund, 863 Flat Shoals Road, Ste. C225, Conyers 30094.
