The grocery store chain Food Lion is opening up a new location in Rockdale County on Ga. Highway 20, by sometime this summer, according to a company spokesperson.
The new store will be approximately 42,500 square feet and will employ about 60 people.
Although there are about 52 stores in Georgia, the Conyers location will be one of the closest to the metro-Atlanta area. There is another Food Lion located in Lawrenceville.
