The Rod Benders Bass Club, featuring members from the Covington and Conyers area, hosts its Seventh Annual Home Coming Tournament next week.

The tournament is April 14 at West Point Lake in LaGrange Ga starting at 3 p.m. Payout for the tournament is $2,500.

Sixty percent of the proceeds go toward Rod Benders Bass Club's Kids Tournament.

The kids tournament will be held at Bennett Lake in Monticello, Ga. in July. However, prior to that event Ron Benders Bass Club is focused on April 14.

The tournament will begin from the Pyne Road Park Mega Ramp. The Rod Benders Bass Club is made up of 48 members from Metro Atlanta, including eight from Newton and Rockdale counties.

Eddie Champion is the President and a founding member and Conyers resident Richard Smith is Vice President.
