Thousands came to the Georgia International Horse Park for the third annual Fiesta Georgia celebration, featuring live bands, vendors, and performances by BMX bike riders. Event workers estimated more than 900 cars filled the parking lot, as families, couples and attendees of all ages turned out to enjoy the bright day and performances by award winning bands such as Grupo Palomo. The festival also highlighted the bicentennial celebration of Mexican independence, which passed on Sept. 16.
