Faith and family at 186th Smyrna Campmeeting

One of the community's oldest traditions will continue next week with the 186th Smyrna Presbyterian Church Campmeeting slated for June 21 through June 27.

A time for fellowship and praise, over 300 people will gather for the campmeeting held on the serene 30-acre church campus at the corner of Hwy 138 and Hwy 212. 

Various musical guests are scheduled to perform and opportunities for worship will be available for all ages during the week. Services are at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily. 

Nightly worship sessions will be followed by events including an ice cream social, a sing-along, talent show, porch night and the traditional Campground Candlelight Walk. 

Lunches will be provided at $3 for ages 2-10 years old, and $5 for ages 11 and older. Dinners are $4 for ages 2- through 10-year-olds and $6 for ages 11 and older.
