Ethel Granade Hill born June 18, 1909, age 102 of Conyers, died Thursday, September 1, 2011. Mama Ethel, as she was known by those who loved her, was a life-long member of Rockdale Baptist Church where she was a member of the Happy Hearts, Senior Choir and the Baptist Women’s Mission. She was preceded in death by her husband, Golden C. Hill. Mrs. Hill is survived by her daughters, Ellen Hill, Conyers, Betty and Roland Reagan, Conyers, Jeannette and David Carter, Conyers; grandchildren, Diane Bonner Dawson, Franklin, TN, Don and Mandi Bonner, Eatonton, GA, Debye and Jody Alderman, Decatur, GA, Craig and Kelly Bonner, Snellville, GA, Michael and Karen Carter, Conyers, GA, Jon and Kristi Carter, Conyers, GA, Greg and Beth Carter, Covington, GA; great-grandchildren, Dana and Jeff Anderson, David and Garrett Dawson, Katy Alderman, Kristin Alderman, Tyler Alderman, Coleman Bonner, Eleanor Bonner, Lanier Bonner, Benjamin and Lindsay Carter, Jonathan Carter, Rachel Carter, Emma Carter, Gracie Carter; great-great grandchildren, Karis Anderson, Dakota Anderson, Dawson Anderson; brother, Charles C. Granade, Conyers, GA. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Rockdale Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Dwayne Jones, Rev. Billy Moss and Dr. Jody Alderman officiating; interment followed at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.
