Mr. and Mrs. David Leon Everson of Covington are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Danielle Veronica Everson to Jamal Jeron Williams, the grandson of Ms. Patricia Oliver of Clayton, Ga., and son of the late Mrs. Tanya Deneen Parker of Paterson, N.J. Danielle Everson is a 2005 graduate of Newton High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Valdosta State University, was employed as the education reporter at The Covington News and she is currently employed as an associate editor at a commercial real estate magazine in Atlanta, Ga. Jamal Williams is a 2002 graduate of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Rabun Gap, Ga. He received two bachelor’s degrees in political science and black studies from Berea College in Berea, Ky. Jamal also received a juris doctorate degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill. Williams is an attorney in Atlanta, Ga. The couple has not yet announced a wedding date, but are planning for a June wedding.
