BOC votes then takes back vote to move elections board meetings (March 3, 2011)
The Rockdale County Board of Elections and Registration will hold a specially called meeting on Friday, March 18, at 10 a.m. at 1400 Parker Road, Lobby C.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the location, dates, and times of the regular monthly meetings of the elections board. The meeting is open to the public. For more information, call 770-278-7333.
The location of the regular monthly meetings was one of the sticking points during earlier discussions of proposed bylaws changes.
In an unusual move, the Board of Commissioners voted during a work session to change the elections board meeting location then rescinded the vote during the same work session.
