Rockdale County invites the public to the 2014 Installation Ceremony of three of its new and re-elected officials on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 5:30 p.m., in Superior Court Judge Robert Mumford’s courtroom at the Rockdale County Courthouse, 922 Court St., Conyers.    

The evening will honor the election of a new Post 2 County Commissioner Doreen Williams and the re-election of the Chief Superior Court Judge David Irwin and District Attorney Richard Reed. 

Judge Mumford will administer the oath of office and State Court Judge Nancy Bills has agreed to lead the pledge of allegiance and bring the welcome and closing remarks.

The ceremony is open to the public. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the courthouse rotunda.
