IN BRIEF: The city of Conyers is looking to get into the business of grave sites by offering up more than 600 new grave lots in the Eastview Cemetery. According to Public Works Director Brad Sutton at the city council bi-annual retreat on Thursday, the lots would be priced around $800 to $1000 per lot, with a $100 discount for veterans, potentially representing more than $480,000 in new revenue. The city would need to establish an enterprise fund and the sales and management of the lots would be handled by the city.
