Eastminster School earned top honors at the National History Day Regional Competition at Kennesaw State University, March 15. Eastminster School exhibits that placed were: First Place - The Decolonization of the British Empire, Second Place - The Berlin Wall, Third Place - The British East India Company. Performances that placed were: Second Place - The Great Railroad Strike of 1877: Worker’s Rights, Government Responsibilities. Eastminster also won web site Second Place - The Criminal Justice System in the Past Fifty Years. The state competition is April 26 at Mercer University in Macon and the national competition takes place in June.
