Early voting totals, Oct. 27

Nearly one fifth of registered voters in the county have already cast their ballots during the early voting period so far.

The Rockdale County Board of Elections and Registration reports that 8376 people, or 19.72 percent of registered voters in the county, have voted as of Oct. 27.

The highest percentage of residents voting early comes from the St. Pius district, with 26.44 percent, while the lowest is from the Conyers district, with 14.76 percent.

Early voting ends tomorrow, Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. at 1400 Parker Road for in-person voting.


Voters should bring one of six forms of acceptable identifications. The six forms are a Georgia driver's license (even if expired or suspended) a valid state or federal government photo ID, a valid U.S. Passport with photo, a valid government employee photo ID, a valid U.S. Military photo ID or a tribal photo ID. Voters can also send in absentee ballots to the Rockdale county Board of Elections and Registrations at 1400 Parker Rd, Lobby C, Conyers, GA 30094, via email to absentee@rockdalecounty.org or by fax to (770) 785-6932.
