Registered voters in the city of Conyers can begin casting their ballots for the city council elections – the only local races up for the Nov. 3 elections – during the early voting/absentee voting period from Oct. 26 to Oct. 30.
Voters can come to the polls, which will be located at the Rockdale County Board of Elections at 1400 Parker Road, Lobby C, Conyers, 30094, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They must bring one of the following forms of identification:
• Valid Georgia drivers license (even if expired)
• Valid U.S. passport ID
• Valid U.S. military photo ID
• Valid tribal photo ID
• Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency or entity of the U.S. government, Georgia government, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of the State of Georgia
• Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free Voter ID card, issued by the County Registrar's Office or the Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS).

In the Conyers Mayor's race, incumbent Mayor Randal Mills along with challenger Kathy Harvey have qualified to be on the ballot.
District 2 Post 1 Councilman Chris Bowen, the incumbent, and challengers Don Williamson and Tony Adams have qualified for the District 2 Post 1 seat.
