Education/College background: Received an Associate’s degree in electronic engineering from Neilson Electronics Institute in Charleston, SC.

Organizations/Public Service Background: Williamson is currently the political liaison director for Georgians For Fair Taxation (GFFT) with the FairTax movement. He is also the rules chairman for the Rockdale County Republican Party.

Goals for office if elected: "I want to make sure there is a greater communication level between governments and different authorities, between the city and the county and the city and Rockdale Water or any other governing authority that interacts with activities going on in the city. As a subset of that, the main reason for the increased level of communication is to provide for a more structured and managed growth of the city." He cited the apartments at the Flat Shoals and Parker Road as an example of a lack of communication. "The permits are talking about up to 167,000 gallons a day sewage requirement. All the RWR was able to give them was 20,000 gallons per day, so somebody missed that one. They’re trying to do the cart before the horse and I want to make sure it’s the other way around."
