Don L. “Coach” Fisher, age 80 of Conyers, died Friday, April 8, 2011.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jerry A. Fisher, Conyers; daughters & sons-in-law, Karen & Joe Mitchell, Conyers, Sherry & Davey Hutchison, Suches; five grandchildren, Joedy & Amy Mitchell, Kasey & Courtni Mitchell, Kylie & Chris Hightower, Matt & Trahlita Bryant, & Cody Hutchison; six great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Gean Orwig.  Mr. Fisher was a member of the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection, retired from the USPS in Decatur with 27 years of service, president of the Decatur Letter Carriers Union and a longtime coach of sports.  Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Leigh Jones officiating; interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection, 3676 Hwy. 20, NE, Conyers, GA  30012.  Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.  Scot Ward Funeral Services at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, 699 American Legion Road, Conyers, 30012, 770-483-7216.
