IN BRIEF: Discover Point Church will be serving a Christmas dinner on Thursday, Dec. 25, from 2:30-5:30 p.m. at 1605 Ga. Hwy 138, located across from LA Fitness and Chick-fil-A.

As of Wednesday morning, about 200 people had reserved and the church was in need of additional desserts.
