IN BRIEF: A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ga. Highway 138 and Ebenezer Road around noon sent a Conyers man to the hospital and slowed traffic for about an hour.

Shortly after noon on Tuesday, a tan Chevy Silverado on Ga. Highway 138 heading east reportedly failed to yield while making a left turn and crashed into a tan sedan vehicle heading west on Ga. Highway 138. The truck flipped over and landed on its roof.

The driver of the Silverado, a white male in his 60s, had to be extracted from the truck by fire and rescue personnel and was transported by ambulance to Atlanta Medical, according to a relative on the scene.

The driver of the sedan, an elderly white female, and the passenger, a young boy, were able to walk away from the crash.
