The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners announced Monday it narrowed the search of a finance director to two internal candidates.

The Board has identified Roselyn Miller, the current county finance deputy director, and Linda Nabers, who currently serves as the county finance financial reporting officer, as the top two candidates.

The Board plans to make the appointment of Finance Director at the July 28 meeting.

In May, the Board offered the position to Bobby E. Young, who withdrew his acceptance to accept another job offer.
