IN BRIEF: The county will be following up on the status of the Christian daycare center that was recently denied renewal of its special use permit in the county to see if its state license has been terminated. TGS Kidz, Inc. had been denied a county special use permit in July that allowed the daycare to operate in a former church, located at 2360 Old Covington Highway. "Since the decision of the Board (of Commissioners)... there does not seem to be any activity there," said Rockdale County Planning and Zoning Director Marshall Walker at Tuesday's Board of Commissioners meeting.
