IN BRIEF:  Zeste Debro, immediate past commander of the American Legion Post 77 in Conyers, was selected as the American Legion commander for the state of Georgia. Debro will be installed as the state commander in a ceremony on Sunday. The state commander represents Georgia in the national American Legion stage and is over the 56 posts in the state of Georgia. Debro was the Senior Vice President of the state American Legion and has undergone executive training for the position of state American Legion commander over the past two years.

Art Darr was recently chosen as the next Commander for Conyers Post 77.
