CONYERS - Conyers Police Department investigators are warning residents of a phone scam. Conyers Police investigators received a report today of scammers calling victims representing themselves as a Conyers Police detective. The scammer reportedly tells the person that they are a possible victim of fraud and need to provide their banking information to further the investigation.

If you receive such a call, contact Conyers Police at 770-483-6600 to verify officers' or detectives' identities or to report if such a scam occurs.
