On Oct. 25, the city of Conyers celebrated Arbor Day. This is the 18th consecutive year the city of Conyers has been named a Tree City USA. The celebration included planting a Little Gem Magnolia tree donated by Lowe’s in Conyers. The Magnolia tree was planed in the Rockdale County Master Gardeners Association Arboretum located inside the Georgia International Horse Park. Representatives from the city, GIHP, Master Gardeners and the Georgia Forestry Association were on hand for the planting.
