Pastors of Conyers churches, including, Dan Crockett of St. Simon’s Episcopal Church John Breyer of Conyers First United Methodist (in place of Trinity Baptist Pastor Joe LaGuardia who was not able to attend), John Kieran of St. Pius X Catholic Church and John Beckman of Epiphany Lutheran Church, worked together to present the 23rd Annual Community Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service on Nov. 20, at St. Pius X Catholic Church. The Thanksgiving offering benefited Family Promise of NewRock, an interfaith hospitality network for homeless families that seeks to bring families to stability and financial independence.
