Church St. between the intersections of Main St. and River St. will be closed until a construction project is completed.

A portion of Church St. will be closed to thru traffic while drainage improvements are constructed along the northern side of the street.

Rockdale County advises residents within the closure area, in the Milstead community, to park their vehicles along the southern side of the street until further notice, as driveways along the northern side will be inaccessible during construction.

The construction which began on Aug. 18 is expected to last three to four weeks, weather permitting.
