Consignment shoppers brought food donations for the Rockdale Emergency Relief and cash to benefit Newton County's Chimney Park as they shopped on Aug. 21 at the Great Kids Sale, a kids' consignment sale located on Dogwood Drive that began 16 years ago and operated by Wendy Williams and Tammy Glaser.

Shoppers generously gave $335 to Chimney Park and a huge box of food to the Rockdale Emergency Relief. "This year we were happy to add the ‘giving back' component. Consignors have the opportunity to recycle, earn money and shop early - it is a win-win for all of us," said Williams.

Great Kids Sale, located on Dogwood Drive in Conyers, will celebrate half-price day today from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
