CRCA celebrates 25 years of the arts (March 31, 2014)
Close your eyes and let the familiar lyrics to all your Jimmy Buffet favorites transport you to a reclined chair on a beach idyllic enough for a postcard setting. Jeff Pike and A1A have earned the right to be called The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, the only tribute show stamped with a seal of approval from the original sandal-clad beachcomber, Jimmy Buffet himself.
A1A will be performing in the Olde Town Conyers Pavillion on June 7, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Conyers Rockdale Council for the Arts. A crowd favorite, the band typically sells out quickly, but there are still tickets available for pavilion and lawn seating. Get there at 6 p.m. when the doors open and hang out with friends, have a drink and a chat, enjoy the evening and prepare yourself for the best Jimmy Buffett tribute band around, which will take the stage at 8 p.m
Entertainment is the theme of this fundraiser, which benefits live theatre, music, fine arts, comedy, children's programs and art classes in your neighborhood.
Tickets are $18 for lawn seating. Table seating is $25 in advance and $30 at the door. You can purchase tickets at http://www.conyersarts.org/music-series/
