Georgia Cancer Specialists — a Top 10 private cancer practice in the U.S. — recently hosted its annual Doctoberfest celebration on Oct. 19 at the GCS-Rockdale office. This yearly event is a chance for area medical professionals to network with the physicians from individual GCS offices, as well as to visit GCS’ facilities.

Drs. Kevin Peacock and Sherine Thomas hosted the GCS-Rockdale event, welcoming more than 50 medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and hospital and practice administrators.

Peacock said, "Both Dr. Thomas and I are new to the GCS team, so Doctoberfest was an ideal opportunity for us to welcome local physicians into our office and start to build relationships with them. We’re happy that Rockdale is a part of this tradition."
