After Thursday’s regular session, Chairman Wales Barksdale requested a special called meeting for Wednesday, May 23, 5:30pm to discuss moving forward with the search for a new superintendent.
The Georgia School Board Association has been invited to present a proposal for providing a superintendent search on behalf of the school board.
After the meeting, the board will go into executive session to discuss personnel matters.
The meeting will be held in the board room of the Rockdale County Public Schools administrative offices 954 North Main Street.
